Ashtead Fireplaces was founded in August 1998 and after five successful years became a limited company in August 2003. The company has a philosophy of friendliness, expertise and efficiency that applies to both the sales and fitting teams.

How does it work?

Ashtead Fireplaces invite you to visit the showroom to view our displays including wood, marble, cast iron, limestone, no chimney no problem and hole in the wall fireplaces and see working examples of both traditional and contemporary gas and electric fires. You will be guided through popular fireplaces for different styles of house, advised on the appropriate heat outputs of different fires and, using their 30 years experience, our team will be happy to discuss how your new fireplace will blend with new or existing decor.
When ordering your fireplace we will give you a fitting date. This is normally 3-4 weeks from order. We will visit you for a free site survey to ensure what you have chosen will fit and we can also arrange a chimney sweep.

Ashtead Fireplaces offers a full installation service using our own team of experienced fitters. Once you have chosen your fireplace, a free home survey is the first step towards installation. Measurements are checked and any final advice on design given.fireplaces banstead

The fitting day itself takes place approximately 3 weeks from order. Starting between 09:00 and 09:30, most jobs are completed in less than a day. Our installations cover removal of any existing fireplace, the fitting of the new fireplace, removal of all the rubbish and all gas work. It goes without saying that all gas work is undertaken by Gas Safe Registered operatives. We organise chimney sweeps for every job and cowl fittings when required. We can also recommend associated trades such as plasterers, electricians, decorators, bricklayers, flooring specialists and chimney lining companies.

All work is guaranteed for 1 year and annual servicing is recommended. Should you experience any difficulties after this time, your first call should be to the shop. Normally we can solve problems over the phone but sometimes it is neccessary to come to your home. This is often completely free.
